June 20th @ The Smiling Buddha!

Monday, June 20th
Start: 8pm
"Every Buddha Plays" Open Stage
The Smiling Buddha (961 College St., Toronto)
Featuring: Amy Dillan & Mike Maniaci
Hosted By: Alicia Glenn

Please come out to this fabulous night at The Buddha! I'm very excited to be hosting for the first time, and I'm even happier to have two great performers (and friends) to show off while I'm there!

Amy Dillan

"It is my opinion that Amy is a talented young singer/songwriter with a lot of potential. Coupled with her un-relenting drive to succeed, leads me to believe that we will see more of Amy in the future." Sam Ibbet CEO of Mozaik Productions.

Amy Dillan combines catchy hooks with universal emotion in her original Pop/Rock music. A young songwriter, living in the core of downtown Toronto, Amy has embraced the center of chaos! She is inspired by the breeding ground full of stories, adventures and new trends. Amy frequently plays in open mics and musical showcases, perfecting her craft and meeting new artists around the city.

Proving her diversity, She recently completed 5 co-written tracks in the studio on a down-tempo cd coming out in July called FLEXDEFUNK. The stage is where Amy feels at home. A place to let loose, get personal and intimate with her audience. Energetic, free spirited, and down to earth. Amy is raw, sticky, honest and tender!

Mike Maniaci

"Derived from the city of vaughan, Mike Maniaci has grown to become one of the finer talents of our time" - Mike Maniaci

At 24, Mike has developed an immensely ecclectic sense of music. Not restricting himself to one single genre, he incorporates true emotion and passion into each song he writes and performs.
Having played in several bands with varying success, he has learnt that the most important part of being a musician is one's expression of true love for the music through live performance that connects with and captivates the audience on an intimate level.

These are definitely two performers you don't want to miss. See you there!
